Blueberry Pie Donuts



Blueberry Pie Donuts are a delicious treat that combines the flavors of a classic blueberry pie with the fun and indulgence of donuts. These donuts are bursting with juicy blueberries and have a hint of sweetness from the powdered sugar on top. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt

In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Gently fold in the fresh blueberries

Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350F 175C

Drop spoonfuls of the blueberry donut batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side

Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels

Dust the warm donuts with powdered sugar

Serve the blueberry pie donuts immediately and enjoy!
